Who I invest in:

• I invest in founders I would work for.
• I invest in areas I have a personal interest in, and want to learn more about.
• I try to invest in companies I can be of some help to. I do not hold the pretense that I’ll be helpful to all companies I invest in.
• I invest in companies and founders that I expect will help the world run better in an outsized way when successful, and therefore, I expect to make an amazing return on my investments. However, I expect many of my investments will result in little to no returns, because startups are risky by default.
